We are excited to invite applications for a Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine to join the dedicated and friendly team. The service delivers high-quality care across hyper-acute, acute, and rehabilitation domains of stroke medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the reperfusion on-call service, including thrombolysis and selecting patients for mechanical thrombectomy at the local neurosciences centre.
- Commit to a 1 in 6 on-call rota.
- Serve as the Physician of the Week 1 in 6 weeks (ward rounds).
- Manage Hyper-Acute Stroke Unit admissions.
- Conduct outpatient clinics, including TIA and stroke follow-ups.
- Provide consultant cover on the rehabilitation ward.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established Clinical Haematology Service.
Role Overview:
Full-time (10 PAs per week) supporting clinical haematology and laboratory services across two hospital sites.
Fixed-term locum contracts considered for candidates on the CESR pathway nearing completion within two years.
Flexible working options available.
GMC registration required.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and laboratory services, managing a full range of haematological conditions (BCSH level 2a).
Work within a growing team, including Specialty Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and an Advanced Practitioner.
Participate in MDT meetings, with diagnostic services supported by a regional centre of excellence.
Engage in teaching and mentoring trainees.
Person Specification:
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
CCT (or equivalent) or within six months of completion.
Experience in diagnosing and managing haematological disorders.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
