We are looking for applicants to join an expanding team of Acute Medicine Consultants who are interested in progressing our journey of service development and innovative working within Acute Medicine. Acute Medicine works closely with the Emergency Medicine team and all Medical Specialities, and you will be involved in the development of clinical processes to improve patient outcomes and experience. The successful applicant, along with the other Acute Medicine Consultants, will be responsible for the care of patients on our Acute Medicine Unit and Acute Medicine Assessment Centre (Assessment and SDEC/Ambulatory care). You will be supported by a full multi-disciplinary team, which includes a junior medical team and Advanced Nurse Practitioners. The Trust has a strong Medical Education department, and the post holder would have a significant educational role, particularly in educational supervision of our IMT doctors and students.  Applicants should be able to demonstrate extensive experience in Acute Medicine and we would entertain applicants seeking to work in Acute Medicine and another specialty. Key Duties: Leading ward rounds on the AMU, supporting junior doctors and the multidisciplinary team.   Consultant Geriatrician (fixed term contract) A forward-thinking NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Geriatrician to join and further develop its evolving Frailty Unit within a dynamic Acute Geriatric Service. This new role addresses the growing demand for specialist, multidisciplinary care for older patients with complex needs. Acute Medicine Consultant  NHS Foundation Trust in Cheshire Fixed term (12 months) or Substantive 8.5 DCC & 2 SPA   A medium sized district general hospital in Cheshire is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Acute Medicine Consultant to join its esteemed team. Responsibilities: As an integral part of the Acute Medicine team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients within the Acute Medical Unit which has 38 beds. Collaboration with a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team, including Advanced Nurse Practitioners, experienced nursing staff, physiotherapy and pharmacy services. Requirements: Extensive experience in Acute Medicine. GMC registration. Consultant Haematologist A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established Clinical Haematology Service. Role Overview: Full-time (10 PAs per week) supporting clinical haematology and laboratory services across two hospital sites. Fixed-term locum contracts considered for candidates on the CESR pathway nearing completion within two years. Flexible working options available. GMC registration required. Main Responsibilities: Provide clinical and laboratory services, managing a full range of haematological conditions (BCSH level 2a). Work within a growing team, including Specialty Doctors, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and an Advanced Practitioner. Participate in MDT meetings, with diagnostic services supported by a regional centre of excellence. Engage in teaching and mentoring trainees.
