Are you a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with a passion for reproductive medicine? We’d love to talk to you about joining the team at a University Hospital Trust in the Midlands.

At their maternity service, you’ll find a supportive, multi-professional team environment, working alongside dedicated specialist midwives and other experts.

The service offers a variety of specialist clinics that cater to specific needs such as mental health, care for vulnerable patients, twin pregnancies, preterm birth, small baby growth monitoring, and Rainbow clinics.

Your day-to-day role will involve a blend of routine and emergency obstetric care, including non-resident on-call shifts dedicated solely to obstetrics. You’ll provide labour suite cover, perform elective caesarean sections, lead ward rounds, and oversee maternity triage and assessment units, as well as antenatal clinics.

On the gynaecology side, they have a two-tier on-call rota in place. One consultant handles emergency cases, while another is available for complex surgeries and to support the maternity team whenever gynaecological expertise is needed, including oncology cases.
