I am working to find Registrar and SAS level candidates who are interested in working and developing a career within rehabilitation medicine.
The University Hospital Trust I am working with are opening a rehabilitation centre and recruiting a complete establishment for the new centre.
They are looking for 2 Drs to join them who would start at the hospital's neurorehabilitation Unit as soon as possible, with a view to moving to the new Rehabilitation centre next year.
Important Details:
12 month contracts (there is a possibility that CESR could be offered – of so, a longer contract would be available).
Patients will be stroke, neurology, major trauma
The expectation would be for candidates to have:
GMC
Experience in multi disciplinary teaching
Evidence of giving Botox for spasticity management is needed
Experience is acute medicine, stroke & major trauma
MRCPExperience of working with AHPs/ Occupational Therapists
Successful candidates will need to be able to discuss rehab plans with patient’s family members
There is an on call rota for nights
Ward work in the day time
Candidates must show an interest in rehabilitation medicine and experience as above to be considered.
Temporary onsite accommodation can be available close to site.
Salaries:
ST3+ £55,329, with enhancements = £75/77K
ST6+ £63,152 with enhancements = £87/88K
ST6+ £63,152 with enhancements = £87/88K
Specialty = £59,175 - £95,400 with Portfolio Pathway (CESR)
All salaries are dependent on years of experience.

Role Overview
This post includes 10 Programmed Activities (PAs):
